Meizu flagship renamed to MX 4-core, available June 30

The Meizu MX quad-core has received another official presentation, renaming to the Meizu MX 4-core during an event in Hong Kong. The device was presented in collaboration with carrier PCCW and will go on sale in its stores starting June 30.

The pricing of the 32 gig model is HK$3,099 (~US$400) and the 64 GB one is HK$4,099 (~US$530). There's no 16 gig variant in the works. The phone comes in a selection of vivid colors - ivory white, milky lime, lilac purple and misty pink.

There have been some changes on the software front - the Flyme (fly-me) OS, Meizu's custom skinned Android launcher, is now on top of Android version 4.0. It offers multiple extended applications, like Flyme Message (similar to iMessage for the iPhone), WhatsApp messenger and the like.

The Flyme skin can be seen in the below video.
